Logic Loner

It’s just me, my guitar, my MIDI board, my voice, and ... Logic Pro.

No studio, no engineers, no producers. I’m sitting at my desk in my apartment teaching myself how to bring my music to life from scratch.

It’s intimidating, it’s addicting, it sure as hell can be annoying... and it’s exactly the challenge I’ve been expecting.

I'm currently knee-deep in the process of recording my very first single. The learning curve with Logic Pro is steep, but every session feels like a breakthrough (especially when it comes to keeping the tempo consistent, ugh!). The progress is constant. I’m not just creating music - I’m building skills I never imagined I’d have.

One song at a time, I say - and this single - which I’m planning and hoping to release by the end of this month - feels like the first big milestone in this journey.

Recording alone has forced me to rely entirely on my instincts. There’s no one to tell me what works or doesn’t; it’s all about trusting my gut and my ear. Half the time I'm not even sure what I'm doing is right but fuck it, I do it anyway!

I’m excited to share this first song with you soon. Each step of this process is a leap into the unknown, and I’m here for all of it. If you’ve ever felt the pull to create something - music, art, anything - on your own terms, I hope my journey inspires you to dive in. It’s not perfect, but it’s mine, and that’s more than enough!
