Northern Nevada musicians: this one’s for you!
Launching Feb. 8 - every Tuesday - a brand-new weekly radio show, High Desert Music, is launching on KNVC 95.1 FM, and it’s dedicated to airing original music by Northern Nevada artists. This is something new for our area; homegrown, original music on FM radio.
I’ll be hosting the show, and I’m also collaborating with Alese Linder of the Reno Musicians Collective to help share upcoming open mics, jams, and music happenings around town so musicians can stay connected and in the loop.

If you’re a local musician, I encourage you to submit your original songs for airplay:

• MP3, WAV, or FLAC
• Include lyrics (FCC guidelines apply)
• Bands: please include member names + roles
• Optional: website or social links
• 20MB max per email
All submitted songs are added to the station’s database and randomly selected for weekly rotation, so everyone gets airtime — the timing just varies week to week.
